United’s Harry Maguire banned for speeding in airport runway tunnel

Bolton Magistrates’ Court heard he was caught on camera driving a Range Rover at 85mph (136km/h) as it emerged from a tunnel in Wilmslow Road under Manchester Airport’s runway on March 5 last year.
He was banned for 56 days, fined £666 and ordered to pay costs of £120 and a surcharge of £266.
The 31-year-old’s legal representatives appeared in court but he did not attend the hearing.
