Leon Brown: Wales and Dragons prop retires aged 28
Brown made 74 appearances for the Dragons, scoring five goals.
“I’ve been blessed to spend my entire career with the Dragons and it’s something I truly cherish and am extremely proud of,” Brown said.
“I’d like to give a shout out to my past and present teammates and loyal Dragons fans for your continued, unwavering support.
“Everyone’s help and support over the years has not gone unnoticed by my family and I and we will be forever grateful.
“Lastly, a huge thank you to the Dragons for supporting me as I tried my best to play this neck.”
Dragons interim head coach Philo Tiatia said: “We are all disappointed with Leon’s retirement but fully understand the decision he has made.
“I have enjoyed working with Leon. He is dedicated to his career and professionalism and has grown as a leader while I have worked with him.”
