Las Vegas Raiders: Head coach Antonio Pierce sacked after regular NFL season
Antonio Pierce is the latest NFL head coach to lose his job after being fired by the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Raiders are last in the AFC West with a 4-13 record this season.
Pierce, a former Pro Bowl linebacker, takes over as interim head coach in 2023 before taking over permanently in 2024.
After Pierce was fired Doug Pederson and Jerrold MayoAfter the regular season, he was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots.
“Antonio grew up a Raiders fan and his Silver and Black roots run deep,” the team said.
“We are grateful for his ability to reignite what the Raiders mean to the entire organization.”
