CBOE will suspend trading in U.S. stocks, options and futures during regular trading hours on Thursday, the Chicago-based network said. Some options and futures trading will resume Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET.

CME Group will keep its U.S. stock market closed Thursday while closing other markets early, including ending interest rates and real estate sales at 1:15 p.m. ET and U.S. Treasury sales at 2:30 p.m. ET, according to its online schedule .

In response to the federal government shutdown, the Census Bureau will release monthly wholesale trade data on Wednesday instead of Thursday as originally planned.

price smart (PSMT), a wholesale warehouse operator, also released its first-quarter earnings ahead of schedule because the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will close markets on Thursday. PriceSmart plans to share earnings results after the close on Wednesday and hold a conference call on Friday, the company said.
