Ioan Lloyd: Wales fly-half set to leave Scarlets for Cardiff
Wales flyback Ioan Lloyd will join Cardiff City from Scarlets at the start of the 2025-26 season after spending two seasons at Llanelli.
Lloyd, 23, joined the Scarlets from Bristol in the summer of 2023 and has been competing with Sam Costello for a place in the forward half, who is expected to stay in Dwayne Peel’s side.
Scales boss Peel refused to confirm Lloyd’s move.
“There’s no news, this time of year, (but) there’s speculation surrounding players,” Peel said.
“When we start making announcements, I’m sure we’ll make some announcements in due course.”
