Scottie Scheffler: American world number one misses another PGA Tour event with Christmas dinner injury

Scottie Scheffler has withdrawn from next week’s PGA Tour event in California to continue treatment for a hand injury he sustained while preparing Christmas dinner.

The world number one said in his story Instagram, external He will reportedly miss the American Express Championship in La Quinta from January 16-18 to “give my injury more time to heal.”
