Celtic team-mates make ‘best’ season ‘easy’ for Kuhn

Nicolas Kuhn is enjoying the most productive period of his career and was quick to praise his colleague for making life “easy” at Celtic.

The 25-year-old Germany winger scored twice in Sunday’s 3-0 win over St Mirren, taking his tally to 16 goals in all competitions this season.

The former RB Leipzig and Ajax youth team member, who joined Quick from Vienna in January 2024, also has 11 assists.

Kuhn scored once in Celtic’s Carabao Cup final against Rangers and twice in the Champions League to help Brendan Rodgers’ side advance to the knockout stages.

Summing up the season so far, he said: “I think this is the best and the best team I’ve ever played for.

“All the teammates, the staff, have made my life easier and I’m just happy to be here.

“I think it’s just a matter of environment, I feel really good, I’m happy to be here and everyone makes me feel at ease. I’m just enjoying the game.

“I don’t focus too much on numbers, we just have to perform well and that’s what I try to do.

“The most important thing for me is to stay healthy. Ultimately it’s about winning trophies.

“We just keep going and we just have to win games. As long as we do that, it’s all good.”
