President Ruto puts Contractors on Notice
President William Ruto has issued a stern warning to contractors to delay the implementation of key government projects.
The president said the government was committed to fulfilling its promises to the people and said it would not tolerate contractors sabotaging their efforts.
“There are a lot of contractors who have failed us and we will not allow them to do that. This is the year to deliver on our agenda as planned,” he said.
The President made the remarks while inspecting the construction of the Kisii Cancer Center in Kisii.
He expressed dissatisfaction with the progress of the project.
President Ruto directed contractors to implement projects as per the agreement or face termination of the contract.
“You’ve got all the money you need. There’s no reason why this project isn’t progressing,” he said.
