Luke Littler beats Michael Van Gerwen in final to win World Darts Championship 2025
The incredible Luke Littler etched his name in darts history as he became the youngest ever PDC World Champion with a dominant 7-3 victory over Michael van Gerwen .
The 17-year-old was in unstoppable form as he raced into a 4-0 lead and although van Gerwen won three sets in a row, he never really threatened a comeback and was always in Littler’s rearview mirror .
Van Gerwen won the first of his three world titles in 2014 at the age of 24, having been the youngest previous champion, but darts phenomenon Littler broke that record, as he did at Alexandra It was just as easy to deal with the Dutch on the palace stage.
