Andreas Pereira: Fulham reject Palmeiras offer for Brazil midfielder
Fulham have rejected a bid worth up to £16.5m from Brazilian club Palmeiras for Andreas Pereira.
The 29-year-old Brazilian midfielder has started 15 of Fulham’s 19 Premier League games this season as the west Londoners sit eighth in the table and are pushing for European qualification.
Following the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in early December, head coach Marco Silva said Pereira had been dropped due to a “technical decision” after playing the first 12 games.
Silva denied his absence was linked to an interview in which Pereira said it would be “very cool” to play for French club Marseille under former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
Pereira called the interview “malicious and inaccurate” on his Instagram account.
But his future at Fulham – where he has been since joining from Manchester United £10m in 2022 – Doubts remain as Brazilian sources expect another bid.
Meanwhile, sources at Marseille say they have cooled their interest in Pereira.
