FPL tips and team of gameweek 20: Triple up on Salah, Diaz and Alexander-Arnold for Man Utd visit

Mats Sayles, Nottingham Forest, goalkeeper, £4.8m – away at Wolves

Forest’s stingy defense was on target to keep a third straight clean sheet and played without suspended talisman Matheus Cunha against Wolves.

Since Week 11, Cunha has been involved in 53% of the Wolves’ goals, scoring a total of nine goals.

They’d really struggle without him – well they still scored against Tottenham when he left the pitch, but everyone scores against Tottenham so it doesn’t really matter .

Josco Guardiol, Manchester City, £6m – West Ham United

Does anyone expect West Ham to score at the Etihad Stadium without the injured Jarrod Bowen?

I didn’t think so, so in came Gvaldiol, who despite Gabriel’s hype is still the highest-scoring defender this season.

The Croatian has shot 28 times this season, the highest number in the league, 23 of which were in the penalty area. Therefore, he has at least one chance to score.

Anthony Robinson, Fulham, £5m – Ipswich Town home

The American left-back could become a regular for this team. He has a league-high seven assists as a defender, and his value remains high even after the recent price increase.

Ipswich still have the third-lowest goalscoring record in the league despite beating Chelsea last time out.

Dean Huijsen, Bournemouth, £4.4m – Everton home

Everton is a team that has kept a clean sheet, having failed to score in seven of their past nine games.

Bournemouth youngster Huyson has made a huge impact with three clean sheets since earning a starting spot, including two double-figure performances and nine bonus points.

He’s a huge threat from the corner.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool, £7.2m – Manchester United home

One game, one goal, 15 points and FPL managers are getting on the Trent train!

The right-back has seen his price rise twice in two weeks. He had only returned three times in 10 games before last week’s game against West Ham, but you could feel a points surplus was approaching.

Alexander-Arnold often breaks out for goals, and there was nothing scary about United’s attack on Sunday.
