Chris Sutton’s Premier League predictions

Molineux, 20:00 GMT

This is the Espiritu Santo derby with Nuno returning to Wolves where he performed well between 2017 and 2021.

Nuno is currently even better at Nottingham Forest, but Wolves have also made some progress under new manager Vito Pereira.

I saw Pereira make a small move after his team scored the last point at Tottenham Hotspur. He looks like a real character and his team has shown plenty of spirit, but I’m not sure they will be the same threat now with Matheus Cunha suspended.

I was wrong last time when I said Forest would draw with Everton, so I’ll back them to take all three points this time.

As I mentioned before, Forest are my boyhood club so it’s great to see them doing so well.

It’s like the late 1970s, when they were battling Liverpool for the top of the table. Their next league game after this game will be against Forest, who will be hoping to complete the double with a win at Anfield in September.

I honestly don’t think Forest will stay at the top of the table for too long, but most of my predictions this season have been terrible, so this could be good news for them.

Sutton’s prediction: 0-1
