5 Things to Know Before the Stock Market Opens

Here’s what investors need to know today.
1. Today is the last day of trading in 2024; the market will be closed tomorrow

The market will return to regular trading hours on Thursday, the first trading day of 2025. 4. Boeing shares steady after fall on Korean Air crash
Boeing (Bachelor) shares edged higher in pre-market trading dropped by more than 2% Monday after a Korean Air flight crashed over the weekend. South Korea has ordered inspections of all 737-800 aircraft Jeju Air crash 179 people died over the weekend. It’s the latest incident for Boeing, which has seen its shares fall by about a third this year due to aircraft quality issues and workforce disruptions.
