Warnings of snow, wind and rain across the UK for New Year
The Met Office said weather warnings for rain, snow and winds of up to 70mph have been issued for parts of the UK on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
A yellow warning for wind, rain and snow will be issued for parts of Northern Ireland, northern England and Scotland from Tuesday.

The warning is in effect from 00:00 GMT on Monday and will last until 06:00 GMT on January 2 in some areas.
