Winning numbers drawn for estimated $1.22 billion Mega Millions jackpot
Friday night’s winning number is estimated at $1.22 billion millions millions jackpot, the fifth largest in the game’s history. The winning numbers were 3, 7, 37, 49, 55, and Super Ball No. 6.
There has been no winner since the $810 million jackpot was won in Texas on September 10.
Earlier Friday, a spokesperson for Mega Millions told CBS News that “lottery sales are soaring,” adding that once jackpots reach this level, ticket sales typically increase accordingly.

There were only three Mega Millions jackpot wins this year, the fewest of any year since the game began. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
A Mega Millions spokesman said winnings are possible at all levels, even if there is no jackpot winner. Christmas Eve, Four tickets match five white balls to win the game’s second prize. They are sold in California, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Wyoming.
If anyone wins, it will be the fifth-largest Mega Millions jackpot ever. (All totals are before taxes.)
