Starmer asks UK regulators for ideas to boost growth
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has written to the UK’s main regulators asking them to come up with reform ideas that could boost economic growth.
He contacted the companies, including energy regulator Ofgem and water regulator Ofwat, in the run-up to Christmas. As Sky News first reported, they have been told to submit proposals by mid-January.
