Manchester City: Pep Guardiola ‘will not give up’ amid poor form
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he will not give up as he aims to reverse the Championship’s recent form.
City have won six of their last seven Premier League games but have won just one and lost nine of their last 13 league games.
This has put huge pressure on Guardiola but he has vowed not to walk away or blame any of his players.
“I will work hard and I will keep going,” he said in front of Manchester City Travel to Leicester on Sunday afternoon.
“I’m not going to give up. I want to stay here. I want to do it and given the situation we’re in, we have to do it.
“Of course I want it (to end the poor run), everyone wants it. I don’t want to let my people down for the club, the fans and the people who love this club.”
“I think all of us in the job want to get things done and please people. That’s undeniable, not a question mark.
“The biggest test is coming back again, but we’ve done this before.”
