Val Dancer wins 2024 Welsh Grand National
Val Dancer, trained by Mel Rowley, won the 2024 Welsh Grand National.
Val Dancer held off the challenge of Sam Thomas’ Jubilee Express, who closed the gap on Iwilldoit at every step.
Val Dancer and Iwilldoit were neck and neck heading into the home straight, with the rest five lengths adrift.
It was the first Welsh Grand National success for trainer Rowley and jockey Charlie Hammond.
