American Airlines Flights across the country were grounded Wednesday morning due to technical issues, causing travel troubles as airlines expect record holiday demand.
An American Airlines spokesperson told CNBC that the ground stop had been lifted as of 7:55 a.m. ET.
“A technical issue is affecting U.S. flights this morning,” a spokesperson said. “Our teams are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and we apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.”
