Troy Deeney’s Team of the Week: Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alexander Isak, Thomas Partey
Dominic Szoboszlai (Liverpool): Although he scored against Tottenham Hotspur, there was more to it than just that. His last few performances have been outstanding and we are starting to see the potential that Liverpool thought they had when they signed him.
Matheus Cunha (Wolves): No matter what happens at Wolves, Cunha is a player who performs at a consistent level. New head coach Vito Pereira took over and led the team to a great victory against Leicester City. I felt like they were calm and composed under his leadership.
Thomas Partey (Arsenal): He is becoming a reliable player at Arsenal. It doesn’t matter if he plays as a centre-back, it doesn’t matter if he plays as a right-back, it doesn’t matter if he plays as a midfielder. He just plays where the team needs him, doing his own thing relatively quietly, and he helped Arsenal achieve a huge victory against Crystal Palace.
