Secretary Blinken’s Call with Mauritian Prime Minister Ramgoolam
Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke today with Mauritian Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam to congratulate him on his recent election victory. Secretary Blinken and Prime Minister Ramgoolam emphasized the importance of expanding U.S.-Maurice security cooperation and strengthening economic ties in the Indian Ocean region. The Secretary emphasized that the United States looks forward to a strong partnership with the new Mauritian government.
