Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods, 15, hits hole-in-one at PNC Championship
Tiger Woods’ teenage son Charlie scores his first hole-in-one in final round of PNC Championship but they were beaten in playoff by Bernhard Defeated with Jason Langer to win the title.
Charlie Woods, 15, scored a hole-in-one on the par-3 fourth hole to give the father-son team the lead in an event that has featured 20 major champions with their families Contest.
But it was the Langers who celebrated their second consecutive trophy, and fourth overall, in Orlando, Florida, when German Bernhard sealed the win with an eagle on the first playoff hole.
“That’s great,” Charlie said. “No one made a mistake today, so it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever experienced.”
He added: “On top of that, I played an ace. I don’t think I can top that.”
This is Tiger Woods’ first official tournament since the Open in July.

The young Woods wasn’t the only player to score his first career hole-in-one on Sunday.
About 30 minutes after Charlie holed his shot, 21-year-old Paddy Harrington, whose father, Padraig, is a three-time major champion, took the lead on the eighth hole.
“I’ve never been so excited to hit a ball before,” Padraig Harrington said.
