Heart of Midlothian: Neil Critchley and Ann Budge under pressure
Steven: This is the biggest January transfer window of Ann Budge’s tenure. The board has been talking about Jamestown Analytics for months. They have to use it now, they have to shelve all their vanity projects and spend the money on the men’s first team or we’re going to go downhill.
Gary Finlayson: Worst team in years. This was a long time ago. They hit their luck a lot last year, when they weren’t the better team, but Shankland came out hot. They’re terrible, but then go ahead and buy suckers from smaller teams.
Michael Gallagher: Change needs to come from the top of Hearts. For a club with 15,500 season ticket holders, hospitality at every home game is sold out and donors donate millions of dollars, while millions of dollars in European football over the past three years have been spent on league Finished bottom of the table and leaving Europe for a pub team… now it’s time to get rolling.
Stephen Strachan: It’s all on the blackboard. Years of mismanagement, a complete lack of identity and a culture of acceptance of mediocrity. Why is Buggy still there? She will witness 3 relegations in 10 years! It’s all self and accepts no responsibility. Please go.
Simon Hamilton: Ann Budge and the board are enduring another losing season. Poor managerial choices, poor purchases in the transfer market and a constant selection of players who are not good enough.
Chris Donald: Fire the board. Andrew McGinley was beyond his reach. He lacks the knowledge and experience to play the position and has cost us hundreds, if not millions, of dollars this season. He appointed a manager with no experience of top-level football and the results are there for all to see. Relegated favorites from now on.
Anonymous: Ann Budge needs to go away. The football side of the club is an embarrassment. This is our worst squad since our last relegation. We are soft on contracts, offering contracts to injury-prone and underperforming players.
