PDC World Darts Championship 2025 results: Callan Rydz hits 107 average in win over Romeo Grbavac
England’s Callan Rydz advanced to the second round of the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship after defeating Croatia’s Romeo Grbavac 3-0 with an average of 107.06 points.
The 26-year-old’s score is the highest first-round scoring average among the event’s current 96 players, beating teenager Luke Littler’s 106.12 points from last year.
This is the 26th-highest overall race average for the event and the best result of the 2025 event so far.
Reitz, from Bedlington, Northumberland, faces Germany’s Martin Schindler in the second round on Sunday evening.
Grbavac averaged 97.92 points per game but won just two of a possible 11 games.
In the first match on Thursday afternoon, Hong Kong player Li Lexian defeated Chris Randleman 3-1 after losing one set after winning nine consecutive games.
Lee will face Northern Ireland’s Brendan Dolan in the second round on Saturday afternoon.
