Fury vs Usyk 2: Daniel Dubois gives prediction and wants to fight winner of heavyweight rematch
Although Dubois is about to defend his title, he is still eager to fight the winner of Usyk-Fury and said he would accept either fight, but he would prefer to face Usyk, who He lost in 2023.
Dubois, who was stopped in the ninth round, knocked down Usyk in the fifth round of their unification fight, but it was deemed a low blow.
“I would be happy (to fight Fury), but after what happened in Poland and the history behind it, I would rather fight Usyk. I would love to get that fight back and have a rematch,” Dubois explain.
“I don’t think he’s going to say no to the business. Money talks in boxing and it’s going to be a huge struggle to get it back and right the wrongs.
“I’m the world champion and he has other belts that can make it (an) undisputed (fight).”
Usyk said he would return to lightweight if he beat Fury a second time, but Dubois thinks that’s unlikely.
After facing Usyk, Dubois said Fury would need to “jump over” the Ukrainian to beat him, but when asked to pick a winner, he wouldn’t.
“They’re both top players. It was a good fight last time and Fury showed his chin,” Dubois said.
“I sit on the fence. Either man.”
