Dressage World Cup: Lottie Fry wins freestyle at London International Horse Show
Lottie Fry won the dressage freestyle title at the London International Equestrian Show with a score of 86.645%.
The 28-year-old rode stallion Glamordale to victory in the fifth leg of the Western European World Cup at the ExCeL Centre, extending his success in the event for the first time since 2022.
Fry overtook Isabelle Fries of Norway in second and Dinja van Lier of the Netherlands in third.
“I have to say, the feeling I feel here is something I’ve never felt before,” Frye said in his post-win speech.
“He (Glamourdale) is absolutely on fire. I’m just grateful to be able to do it in London in front of so many people.”
Fry grew up near Driffield in Yorkshire but now lives and trains in the Netherlands, Won bronze medal in individual dressage competition at the Paris Olympics last summer.
The 2024-25 Dressage World Cup season finals will be held in Basel next April.
