Bloomberg also revealed more about Flanagan’s sudden departure, which was said to be a mutual decision.
Bloomberg said Flanagan “wants to make a decision about his future” and has “put some pressure on his future.”
“That almost makes it a decision that has to be made quickly, rather than waiting longer to review things,” Bloomberg added.
“The decision was also based on the fact that we didn’t win enough games in the first quarter.
“Performance has definitely improved as some things are moving in the right direction, but the board is not happy with the number of wins.”
The Dragons return to United Rugby Championship (URC) action when they host Cardiff City on 26 December at 17:15 GMT.
