Southport stabbing suspect Axel Rudakubana, 18, denies murdering three young girls in attack at Taylor Swift-themed dance class — —Elsie Dot Stancombe, Alice da Silva Aguiar, and Bebe King.
Mr Rudacubana appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link but refused to speak when asked to confirm his name and enter his pleas, so Mr Justice Guth entered them on his behalf.
Likewise, Mr Rudacubana has pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of 10 other people, including eight children, on 29 July.
Charges of producing the poison ricin and possessing terrorist material were also brought against him, but again he failed to respond and a not guilty plea was entered against him.
The judge said the trial, originally scheduled for January 20, will go ahead and is expected to last up to four weeks.
The 18-year-old swayed from side to side during the hearing and at times sat with his head down.
