Troy Deeney’s Team of the Week: Diallo, Isak, Sarr, Gray, Ugarte, Pickford
Amad Diallo (Manchester United): It’s really difficult to pick a forward this week, but Amad Diallo is the only one who’s a no-brainer. He is excellent, The Manchester derby was completely turned upside down. As a young man, he seems to be growing better and better.
For all the noise surrounding Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford, Diallo just seems to be doing his thing and delivering regularly, and that’s what it’s all about.
Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace): When I played with him at Watford he was a winger but at Palace they play him as a number 10 and he will show people what a good footballer he is.
He’s also the fastest guy I’ve ever played with and on his second goal he caught up to Lewis Dunk for 5 yards before finishing his shot about 15 yards ahead. Incredible finish, great to see him flying in the palace.
Jacob Murphy (Newcastle): If I’m being completely honest, I never thought I would do a Team of the Week where we would be talking about Jacob Murphy. That’s probably the best compliment I can give him, he’s playing well and I have to put him on the field. Two goals at the weekend, great performance.
Alexander Isaac (Newcastle): The best forward in the Premier League right now. Yes, I’ve said it, and yes, I stand by it. He is a versatile forward. illusory. Every time I watch him play I think, why haven’t Arsenal signed him yet?
He is a very good player and finisher. He’s a poacher, but he’s also a silky smooth player. You won’t see many silky poachers.
