Woman killed and two injured in shooting
A woman has been killed and two men injured in a shooting in northwest London.
The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to reports of a shooting in Harlesden at around 21:15 GMT on Saturday, where they found the woman, believed to be in her 40s. She died at the scene.
One of the two men, both aged in their 30s, is said to be in critical condition. The other man’s injuries were not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and a murder investigation is ongoing.
Sergeant Tony Josephs said: “This was a truly shocking incident which resulted in the death of one woman and the injury of two others and I understand that this will cause concern for the local community and people across London.
“I would like to reassure people that a team of experienced detectives are already working intensively to piece together last night’s events and identify who is responsible for this heinous act of violence.”
He appealed for anyone with information about the shooting to contact police.
