Hints for today’s Strands puzzle

Today’s topic is: part time

If that doesn’t help you, here’s a clue: Made from green cheese.

Clue words used to unlock in-game hints

Your goal is to find hidden words that fit the theme of the puzzle. If you’re stuck, find any words you can use. Whenever you find a three-word word of four letters or more, Strands displays one of the themed words. These are the words I used to get these tips, but any word you find with four or more letters will work:

  • glue, glue, best, best, bet, weaken, pull, rest, tear, break, pane, blue, crest, head, head

Answers to today’s Strands puzzle

These are topic-related answers. The goal of the puzzle is to find all of them, including the spangram, a topic word that extends from one side of the puzzle to the other. When you have all of those letters (I originally thought there were always eight, but later learned the numbers can vary), every letter on the board will be used. Here are the non-Spangram answers:

  • Full type, waning type, waxed type, convex type, quarter type, crescent type
