The Five Africans Featured on the Forbes 2024 List
Judith Suminwa Tuluka from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mpumi Madisa from South Africa, Samia Suluhu Hassan from Tanzania and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Mo Abudu from Nigeria are all on the list, which is determined by four main indicators: money, media, Influence and influence in the field. The result: 100 women in finance, technology, media and other fields hold a total of $33 trillion in economic power, affecting more than 1 billion people. While this is a testament to their exceptional influence, it also highlights the urgent need for wider efforts to uplift and support women across the continent.
