Protesters jubilant as South Korea President Yoon’s impeached
Protesters gathered outside South Korea’s National Assembly on Saturday celebrated after hearing that lawmakers voted to impeach President Yoon Seok-yeol.
They cheered the news loudly and some appeared to cry.
Yin has now been suspended and the prime minister serves as acting president.
