Ben White: England manager Thomas Tuchel will ‘reach out’ to Arsenal defender
England manager Thomas Tuchel says he will be “in contact” with Arsenal defender Ben White to discuss a potential return to the national team.
White left England’s 2022 World Cup training camp in Qatar after the group stage Returning to China due to personal reasons.
The 27-year-old has made four appearances for the Three Lions, his last appearance coming in March 2022.
Tuchel was Appointed as England head coach In October, he succeeded Gareth Southgate and will take up the post on 1 January.
“I will contact him,” the German said. “This should be a clean start and a clear narrative.
“I will be in the stadium from January. I won’t distract the players either, they should know, ‘OK, the manager has been there from January’.”
