UFC London: Britain’s Mick Parkin to face Marcin Tybura in first bouts announced for event
Unbeaten British heavyweight boxer Mick Parkin will face Poland’s Marcin Tybura at UFC London on March 22.
Parkin, 29, has won the first 10 fights of his career and has quickly risen to No. 14 in the UFC heavyweight rankings since debuting with the promotion last year.
The 39-year-old Tybura faced an opponent ranked six spots higher than him, a veteran with 13 wins in 21 UFC fights.
Parkin – teammate of British interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, Who beats Tybura in 2023 – Last fought in July, knocking out Lukasz Brzeski.
Tybura competed last month, defeating Jonata Diniz in the second round.
The UFC also announced a light heavyweight bout between Poland’s Jan Blachowicz and New Zealand’s Carlos Ullberg.
The O2 Arena has yet to announce additional match information for the card.
