Wolverhampton Wanderers: Gary O’Neil to remain in charge at Molineux
Under-pressure Wolves boss Gary O’Neill has retained the club’s support and will remain in charge despite Wolves’ difficult circumstances.
There have been suggestions that the 41-year-old’s job is in jeopardy, with the club second from bottom in the Premier League.
Sources have told BBC Sport that the club’s hierarchy do not believe the manager is the problem and are committed to supporting him, including in next month’s transfer window.
There is belief within Molineux that the team has the ability to escape danger and survive despite just two wins from 15 games this season.
Wolves lost 2-1 to West Ham on Monday, their third straight defeat, and host 18th-placed Ipswich on Saturday.
