Big names like Jack Black, Danny DeVito, Dwayne Johnson, Lindsay Lohan and more all appear in the holiday fare, with enough stars to grace countless Christmas trees. Red One has been in theaters for a while, but the action-packed holiday movie is about to make its debut on the streaming service. The PG-13-rated film stars Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans and follows Santa Claus on his journey around the world. You can watch the movie on Prime Video to see if these two movie stars get their job done.
In this Netflix movie, exes reunited just before Christmas after a decade apart, and the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant. Lindsay Lohan and Ian Harding play former dates who reunite when their partners (they are siblings) host them at a holiday party. Can they keep their history secret? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
This festive film stars Ben Stiller as a big city dweller whose life changes. He leaves Chicago to temporarily care for his four orphaned nephews on a country farm, and child-induced chaos ensues. Real-life siblings play a quartet of boys, with Linda Cardellini playing a social worker.
Taron Egerton takes on Jason Bateman in this upcoming Netflix airport thriller that’s packed with festive energy and deserves to be on the list. The showdown ensues when Bateman’s mysterious figure urges Egerton’s TSA agent to let a bag through security and onto a Christmas Eve flight. If you want to see a different kind of holiday movie, save room for this one in your luggage.
There’s a Netflix holiday release that no one expected, but it makes perfect sense – “Hot Frost” stars Lacey Chabert as a small-town woman who meets a handsome guy with Yeti heritage. The comedy, which also stars The Office’s Craig Robinson and Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Joe Lo Truglio, stars as a sheriff and his deputies tracking a streaker who The person may or may not be the hottest (and technically the coldest) newcomer to the community.
A Magic Mike-guided crowd-pleaser, “The Bitch” tells the story of a big-city dancer who sets out to save his parents’ struggling business. Strategy? An all-male revue led by a chiseled handyman played by Chad Michael Murray. Of course, all of this has to be done before Christmas.
Want to spend Christmas with a cute little owl? This animated short on Disney+ follows the journey of a little bird named Moon, who travels alone to Rockefeller Plaza during the holidays and befriends a little girl who is also far away from home. The voice cast includes Jim Gaffigan, Mamoudou Assi, Natasha Lyonne and John C. Reilly.
“Succession’s” Brian Cox’s voice as Santa Claus is a highlight of the PG-rated animated film from “Love Actually” writer-director Richard Curtis. The film is adapted from three children’s books by Curtis, who co-authored “That Christmas,” packaging multiple stories into a holiday package.
Pop group Pentatonix and Christina Milian star in this holiday rom-com This brings festive tunes and chemistry. A year ago, Milian’s character started looking for tickets to a Pentagon concert in New York City after a cute encounter with a stranger at an airport. But the decision to hire a concierge leads to an unexpected second love interest.
Paramount Plus’ first original Christmas movie, “Dear Santa,” features a star-studded cast and a compelling premise: What if a little boy accidentally wrote a letter to Satan instead of carrying a bag? What should people do?
