Inaugural Africa Food Show Launches On Back Of Surge In African F&B Market, Expected To Reach US$1 Trillion By 2030
- The African Development Bank predicts that the food and agriculture market will surge from US$280 billion per year to US$1 trillion by 2030(1) Africa is expected to have the fastest urban growth in the world, and four of the world’s 10 fastest-growing economies are located in Africa.
- To support this growth, dmg events, in partnership with KAOUN International and supported by Gulfood, launches Food Africa – the premier B2B exhibition for the food and drink industry in Africa, taking place in Cape Town from 10 to 12 June 2025 International Conference Center.
Africa has experienced strong economic growth in recent years, with a growing population, booming economies and the emergence of a wealthy middle class. The food and beverage market is expected to exceed $1 trillion by 2030, according to the African Development Bank.
To meet this demand, we have rebranded Africa Seven as Africa Food, supported by Gulfood and organized by dmg events and KAOUN International, who will host this exciting event in Cape Town from 10 to 12 June Events at the South African Town International Conference Centre.
