Tom Pidcock leaves Ineos for Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team

British cyclist Tom Pidcock has signed a three-year contract with the Q36.5 professional cycling team.

Pidcock, 25, Left Ineos Grenadier On December 4, despite agreeing a five-year contract with the British team in 2022.

The two-time Olympic champion, who will defend his mountain bike title at Paris 2024, will join his new team at a pre-season training camp in Calpe, Spain, in January.

“This is more than just a change of jersey, this is the start of something special,” Pidcock said.

“The opportunity to work with a growing team, incredible partners and brands inspires me. I can’t wait to see what we will achieve together.”

Q36.5 Pro Cycling is a UCI professional team that competes in the second level of competition, while Ineos competes in the top-level UCI World Tour.

For Ineos, Pidcock won a stage in the 2022 Tour de France, as well as victories in the prestigious Strade Bianche and Amstel Gold Race one-day classics.
