Apollo Global Management, Workday to Join S&P 500
Apollo Global Management and Workday will join the benchmark S&P 500 later this month, S&P Dow Jones Indices said on Friday.
Apollo Global Management (apolipoprotein) and working days (working day) will replace Qorvo (QRVO) and catfish (AMTM), respectively. These changes will take effect before the market opens on Monday, December 23.
Amentum was added in October, replacing Bath & Body Works (BBWI).
Friday’s news follows the addition of Texas Pacific Land in November.TPL) into the index, replacing Marathon Oil (Maintenance, repair and overhaul).
Qorvo and Amentum will move to S&P SmallCap 600.
As of Friday’s close, the S&P 500 had gained 28% this year.
