While ranked play has already made its debut in Black Ops 6’s multiplayer mode, Reloaded Season 1 is bringing competitive rewards to Warzone.
Ranked modes will launch in Thursday’s update and will be available to anyone who finishes in the top 15 in Battle Royale and the top 6 in Revival.
Skill level points are gained and lost based on final ranking and elimination – you will gain more SR points by killing opponents ranked higher than you, and you will earn less by killing opponents ranked lower than you. SR points.
The “CODMAS” limited-time mode will also return to Warzone.
Area 99 in Holiday Rush will feature a nuclear testing facility adorned with holly boughs and allow players to earn higher-level loot when encountering enemies in tighter gas circles early in the game.
In Urzikstan’s Killing Ride Revival, Santa Claus joins the ranks of the undead and hijacks trains across the map. When the locomotive loses control, players will grab snowballs, guns, and grenades in a bid to be the last team standing.
What’s in store for Season 1 of “Black Ops 6”?
While the main focus in the early part of Season 1 was integrating Warzone with the latest entry in the Call of Duty series, the mid-season update brings a wealth of new content to Black Ops 6.
Season 1 of Reloaded adds a new Zombies map and more multiplayer maps, weapons and limited-time modes to celebrate CODMAS this December.
Multiplayer
The Season 1 Reloaded update will add three maps to the core pool.
Racket is a new small map that takes place in the Lutazzi Group’s bank vault, while Hacienda is a medium-sized vineyard map remade from Black Ops 4.
The new festive version of Nuketown will also sprinkle snowflakes, holiday trees and lights across the battlefield, with limited-time Christmas versions of Search and Infection modes taking over the map.
New weapons will be added in a series of new mid-season events, including the AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle, Maelstrom shotgun and Cleaver melee weapon.
The XM4 assault rifle and Kompakt 92 SMG are also getting three-shot burst conversion kits that fundamentally change how these guns can be used.
The new Shrapnel Radar perk marks targets on the minimap that are damaged by lethal and tactical grenades or field upgrades, while the new High Roller Wildcard allows players to choose four perks for their gear instead of the usual three.
The commitment to radical gear customization continues through the end of Black Ops 6 Season 1.
zombie
The new Zombies map – Citadelle des Morts – will pick up where players left off after killing Patient 13 at the end of the Terminus Easter egg.
The operators traveled to the European Principality of Avalon and met up with the famous Gabriel Kraft at the castle, only to discover that he had been captured by the rival French Syndicate.
Between criminal gangs and dimensional breaches from the undead, players must gather their forces and make their way through the Citadel of the Dead to save Gabriel Kraft and everything he might know.
In addition to the new map, the mid-season update also introduces new magical weapons, zombie variants, Perk-a-Cola, field upgrades, ammo mods, zombie score records, and three new Gobblegums.
Citadelle des Morts’ Bastard Sword magical weapon can be upgraded into four different elemental archetypes, just like the Origins staff and Der Eisendrache bow from previous games. These fire, lightning, aether, and lightsabers are sure to be an integral part of the map’s Easter eggs.
A new undead threat also plagues the castle’s halls. Players will need to be wary of the terrifying doppelgänger as it erratically moves through hordes of enemies, firing its spines at anyone unfortunate enough to cross its path.
Vulture Aid Perk-a-Cola returns for the first time since Black Ops 2 and will provide players with rescue supplies and ammo reserves so they can continue to fight the zombie threat.
New ammo mod Light Mend enables weapons to deal light elemental damage with a chance to spawn glyphs that heal nearby players, while new field upgrade Tesla Storm encourages co-op teams to line up closely to shock enemies at close range.
Each new Perk-a-Cola, ammo mod, and field upgrade has three researchable major and minor enhancements that can be earned by playing the game.
Hand Cannon Multiplayer Streak is also coming to Zombies Mode, which will be automatically unlocked for anyone who participated in the Hit List Season 1 event. Anyone who missed the event can unlock the streak by armory.
Power Keg and Time Out Gobblegums will become available as the community unlocks them through the Gobblegum Mania event. Holiday Cheer Goobies will be available as soon as the update is released, available in the Jingle Hell limited-time mode, which transforms Liberty Falls into an undead winter wonderland.
To wrap up Black Ops 6’s first major zombie-focused update, we’re making sweeping balance changes to slow down difficulty ramps across the board.
The number of Crusher spawns is being reduced, and fewer Crusher will appear on the map at any given time. The health of their arm cannons will also be reduced, giving players a better chance of defending against ranged attacks.
Parasite damage also decreases between rounds 31 and 91, but regular zombie damage increases between rounds 150 and 400.
