Ruud van Nistelrooy: Manchester United exit hurt as he refocuses on Leicester City
New Leicester City boss Ruud Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed the pain of his departure from Manchester United but vowed to leave his mark on the Foxes.
The former Red Devils striker takes over from Steve Cooper at the King Power Stadium on Friday Agreement signed until 2027,

Van Nistelrooy inherited a team that had a poor relationship with Cooper and was criticized after last week’s Christmas party trip to Copenhagen. Players said their behavior was unacceptable.
He said he examined their roles before taking on the role and believed the players had to respect his authority.
“That’s the only way you can work,” Dutch said. “It’s mutual respect. I also mentioned to the players yesterday that I looked at the squad and started calling to ask about the players because in football everyone knows everyone.
“With two or three calls you hear stories about 20 players and the important thing to me is that you hear there are good people there. That’s important, there are good people there.
“I look at the players and how they play. I obviously don’t know them, but I get the general message… They’re a good group of guys.”
