ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger review: a good little charger with added reinforcements
ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger Review
The ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger is listed on ESR’s official website for $24.99 / £22.49 / AU$37.49, but at the time of writing, it’s listed for less. Amazonso it’s worth checking in case you can save money.
The price of this ESR charger is the same as Anker MagGo Wireless Chargerwhich is more comfortable to hold when attached to the back of my phone, but lacks the reinforced cable that the ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger has.
Due to its light weight, the ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger will naturally move across surfaces when struck or the cable is pulled. However, its flat base provides more stability than a curved base. Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Pad. The downside to this flat design with sharper edges than the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger Pad is that it’s not as comfortable to hold as the Anker charger’s curved shape. Still, even though I have smaller-than-average hands, it’s still easy to operate and a great alternative to bulky power banks.
However, the ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger has advantages over many other wireless chargers. The best wireless charger When it comes to cable integrity. It has a reassuring length of reinforced cable cover that meets the braided nylon around the charging pad and wiring. I’m not really a fan of the integrated cable: I’d prefer a detachable cable to make packing the charger easier, but at least the sturdy-looking cable gives me confidence that it won’t get damaged easily. My overnight bag. The magnets are also reassuringly strong, and when I hung the pad on my iPhone 13 Pro, it passed the hanging test with ease.
The ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger takes 2 hours and 8 minutes to fully charge an iPhone 13 Pro, which is comparable to the time it takes to fully charge the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger Pad.
All in all, if comfort was my priority while continuing to use my phone, this is not the charging pad I would choose. However, if I was planning to carry it between locations on a regular basis, the ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger would be my first choice because of its reinforced cable design. Charging times are good for the price, and a bit faster than similar Anker charging pads, so aside from the less comfortable design, the ESR Qi2 Mini Wireless Charger would definitely be my choice of the two chargers.
