Jess Breach: England wing set to be fit for Six Nations
England and Saracens winger Jess Breach has been ruled out until February with a hip injury.
The 27-year-old, who made her 43rd cap for England when they won the WXV title against Canada in October, has been a mainstay in head coach John Mitchell’s back three.
“It’s not brilliant,” Breach told TNT Sports in October., external
“I’ve spoken to an adviser and an expert that I might not play for a while and maybe target the Six Nations.”
England’s Six Nations team will face Italy in York on March 23, with the Red Roses’ home World Cup taking place in August.
Mitchell has already lost Loughborough Lightning’s Beau Westcombe-Evans, who made her England debut in September, and has been ruled out of the remainder of the Premier League Women’s Rugby (PWR) season Severe knee injury.
Saracens, who were eliminated in the semi-finals last season, currently sit fifth in the PWR table with four wins from six games.
