Relive the ’90s This Black Friday with 20% Off a Street Fighter 2 Arcade Cabinet
If you like video games, chances are you’ve already tried Street Fighter. It has always been a favorite among gamers and is often well-received by the crowd. Arcade 1Up’s Yoga Flame Edition Arcade Cabinet is a re-creation of a cabinet I spent countless days and countless coins playing with. It comes with multiple versions of Street Fighter 2, the defining fighting game, and several other fantastic retro games. Now, Even after Amazon’s Black Friday saleit is As low as $399That’s $100 off the usual price of $499, and I highly recommend purchasing it if you can.
At Christmas and birthdays, my wife always wants to outdo me and see who can get the best gift. Normally, we are about the same when it comes to gift giving, but this year, she surpassed me in every aspect. She allowed me to experience what it was like to be a kid again, without the pressures of adulthood – which was so glorious.
While the cabinet is a little smaller than you remember as a kid, there’s no denying the excitement you’ll get when the Street Fighter 2 theme music plays and you press the Ready Player 1 button. It’s intoxicating and always makes me smile. The big illuminated tent added to the magic, and I admit, I left the machine on and the music playing in the room. It makes me happy to walk into a room and hear that voice. I even added some Govee light strip Go to the back so the neon lights dance while I play.
Assembly was very easy and I was able to do it myself without too much trouble. Be careful with the screen when installing, though. There’s plenty of room on the back for a keyboard, which you might want to add if you’re into modding. If you want to expand the capabilities of your cabinet, there are some interesting avenues you can take.
Now the only modification I made was to add these cool new knob. The original ball was nice, if a bit small, but I wanted a round, shiny ball like the machines of my youth. It’s a great buy to have standing side by side with friends and family, furiously tapping buttons to complete that retro feel.

Arcade1Up has more than just Street Fighter cabinets for sale right now, and I wish I had the money to buy them all. Even the stuff that’s not on sale makes my head spin. I’m still saving money time crisis cabinet. One day it will be mine. it will…
I agree $400 is a lot of money, you could do something similar with a Rasberry Pi and some emulator software, but it won’t be as good and it won’t feel the same. Believe me.
