Scottish Premiership: Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen & Hearts analysed

Celtic are clear favorites to retain the league title this season, but little has happened in the first 11 games to change that.

Brendan Rodgers and his men will be devastated if they blow away a two-goal lead at home to Aberdeen – but that draw is the only blemish on a so far perfect domestic record.

They brushed aside any frustration when they faced Dons at Hampden earlier this month with a dominant 6-0 victory over their closest rivals in the league to seal their place in the League Cup final.

Nicolas Kuhn has fully adapted to life in Glasgow and is in fine form after a difficult start to last season.

The German winger has scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in just 17 appearances this season and has joined forces with the national team coach Julian Nagelsmann reportedly monitoring his progresshis net worth and popularity have undoubtedly risen.

Rodgers’ side also now look capable of competing in the Champions League.

Their 7-0 defeat away to Dortmund prompted a change of tactics, drawing with Atalanta in Bergamo and then beating RB Leipzig 3-1 at home.

Celtic look well-positioned to progress in Europe and dominate domestically, even if they don’t strengthen further in the January transfer window.
