Merck Foundation partners with Africa’s first ladieslaunches an inspiring children’s storybook—— “It’s not who you are” Raise awareness about gender-based violence and educate children about this sensitive social issue so that they learn to respect girls and women from an early age, and “More than just a mother” Family values ​​of love and respect are emphasized and reinforced from an early age, inculcating the idea that women are more than just mothers, they are productive members of society. In addition, children’s storybooks such as “Educating Linda”, “Jacklin’s Rescue” and “Ride the future” Campaigns were also launched to support girls’ education. Storybooks have also been adapted into fun and engaging animated films. The animated films are available in four languages: English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
