Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 41 points to help the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Chicago Bulls 122-106.
Antetokounmpo, who has scored more than 40 points three times this season, contributed 8 rebounds and 9 assists, while teammates Brook Lopez and Damian Lillard contributed 21 points and 20 points respectively.
Zach LaVine scored 27 points for the Bulls, who cut the deficit to 104-102 with less than eight minutes remaining, but the Bucks pulled away.
The victory continued the Bucks’ resurgence, which saw them record their fourth win in five games and currently sit ninth in the Eastern Conference after winning just two of their first 10 games.
The Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 128-100 victory over the New York Pelicans.
Ty Jerome scored a team-high 29 points for the Cavaliers, whose 15-game winning streak was ended by the Boston Celtics in their last game.
Jerome hit six of seven 3-pointers in the second quarter for the Eastern Conference leaders and scored 20 points.
“It’s awesome. Moments like this don’t come around often in the NBA,” Cleveland coach Kenny Atkinson said.
“This is a superstar show. It’s great for the audience, it’s great for the band, it’s great for Ty.”
The Golden State Warriors, top of the Western Conference, defeated the Atlanta Hawks 120-97 and won five consecutive home games.
Andrew Wiggins scored a game-high 27 points for the Warriors, and teammate Stephen Curry also scored 23 points.
