Snow causes second day of travel disruption

The snow caused travel disruptions as passengers had to take buses through areas where rail lines were closed.

Transport for Wales said trains between Llandudno, County Conwy, and Blaenau Ffestiniog in Gwynedd were cancelled.

The Met Office has published six yellow warnings for Ice and snow across the UKthe warning for Wales will last until 10:00 GMT on Wednesday.

Snow began to fall in parts of the UK on Monday night, causing More than 140 schools closed Wales and many roads closed.

School will be closed for one day on Tuesday Wrexham, powys, Denbighshire, flintshire, thorfin and Blaenau Gwent.

Transport for Wales said 13% of its services had been disrupted due to the bad weather.

HSE has also issued its first Amber cold weather health alert of the season, warning that the conditions could be dangerous for older and vulnerable people.
