Rory McIlroy wins DP World Tour Championship final & Race to Dubai
Rory McIlroy beat Denmark’s Rasmus Hojgaard to win the season-ending DP World Tour title and win his sixth Dubai title.
The Northern Irishman shot a 3-under 69 in the final round at Jumeirah Golf Estates to finish two strokes ahead of Hoggard at 15 under.
The victory ensured that the 35-year-old McIlroy moved to the top of the Tour season rankings and became the Tour’s champion golfer for the sixth time.
